I always say that three apples have changed our destiny, nay, the world’s destiny—yours and mine. Humanity has witnessed this.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away; I have heard this since my younger days. And in those days, I was not afraid of my doctor uncle, for he was a bright man who had a pair of bright eyes behind the thick glasses. What I was afraid of was the needle in the injection syringe. That pricking was painful, and, worse, the pain in my arm kept me from playing in the afternoon. I forced myself to take that red fruit almost every day.
I was very fond of apples, and as I grew up, I found that this round red fruit has played an active role and is a great influencer and has influenced the world too.
Human Evolution
The event involving Adam and Eve was the first case. Indeed, it made the universe. Understandably, this fruit had a role in our evolution and thinking. The story is lucidly illustrated in the Bible and is not repeated here.
The next was the incident that took place in England long ago, when Sir Isaac Newton saw an apple fall from a tree under which he was sitting. This incident made him think deeply, resulting in the discovery of “Gravitation.” The progress of science began from this juncture.
